Admission and Student visa process

Funds requirement for USA

If you are on an F1 visa (student visa) in the USA then it is required to show sufficient funds for your 1-year tuition fees along with the indication that the cost of your future study will be covered as well. It does not require to show all the funds for future years of a sudden, but the US government does expect you to justify the source of income from which the money will come.

Documents to show your financial support.

If your family members will be supporting you, they can use a USCIS Form I-134 to indicate that they not only have the income and assets you have shown, but they are willing to spend them on your studies and living expenses. Once you have all these documents prepared, you need to fill a visa application form, pay the requisite fees and book an interview schedule at the nearest USA embassy. If you clear your interview you will get your visa and you can land in the USA as an international student.
